Good Morning Vietnam!

We made it to Ho Chi Minh City safe and sound!  We had a short stopover in LA, a stopover in Tokyo where we enjoyed the airport lounge, and arrived in Ho Chi Minh last night.  Unfortunately our luggage didn't make it on the plane out of LA, where the layover was made even shorter because of the delay out of Toronto.  The plan is that our backpacks will be delivered to us at the hotel sometime tomorrow.  Luckily we each packed an extra outfit in our carry-on and had our toothbrushes!

We left the house around 5 am in Toronto on Wednesday morning and between multiple flight delays, stopovers, 2 hr customs line, and dealing with lost bags, we arrived at our cute little apartment at The One Saigon at 2 am in the wee hours of Friday morning HCMC time... 33 hrs later.  The kids did great!  Everyone is still sleeping (except me... I have the gift of being able to sleep on trains, planes, and automobiles).  Looking forward to a lazy morning and exploring the neighborhood today!
